With the new board moderation features and party rooms, we've updated the Privacy Policy to reflect the information we actually keep and what gets deleted when you delete your account. What changed 1. Information collected — We now list board posts, comments and attached images, party room join/leave records, nickname change history, restriction records, and report records. If you report the other party in a trade chat, the trade chat number is saved with the report, and the admin reviews that chat. 2. Previous nicknames — When you change your nickname, your previous nickname is shown on your profile and is automatically deleted 90 days after the change. 3. When you delete your account — Your board posts, comments and uploaded images, party room history, restriction records and nickname change history are also deleted immediately. However, to protect other people's records, two things remain without your name: - If someone else replied to your comment, only a "This comment has been deleted" placeholder remains, with no author or content. - In party rooms opened by others, your join/leave log lines show only "(deleted user)". Other changes that come with this - Board posts and comments that receive multiple reports are hidden automatically (only the author can still see them). - Posts and comments by members with a posting restriction are hidden from others for the duration of the restriction. - Party room names and passwords are now visible only to the host and the people who joined. Effective date - October 5, 2026 (Privacy Policy revision) If you do not agree to the revised policy, you may delete your account at any time. Leave a commentTo make sure chat records don't disappear when a scam or dispute happens during a trade, we've set how long and how trade chats are kept. What changed 1. Trade chat retention period — Trade chats are kept for 3 years from the day the trade ended (completed, rejected or canceled), and then deleted automatically. 2. Kept for 3 years even after account deletion — Currently, if either party to a trade deletes their account, that trade's conversation is deleted right away for both sides. From now on, even after account deletion, the conversation for that trade and the information needed to identify the participants (nickname, BattleTag, email) will be stored separately for 3 years. It will not be used for anything other than resolving disputes and responding to requests under the law. 3. When information may be provided — As a rule, we do not provide personal information to third parties. However, when investigative agencies, courts or similar bodies request it through procedures set by law, or when it is needed to resolve a trade dispute such as handling a report, we may provide the trade chat contents and participant information to the extent necessary. The same notice is also shown at the bottom of the trade chat screen. Leave a commentSo that we can actually enforce Board Rule 7 ("Repeated violations may lead to restrictions on posting or trading"), we've turned on account restrictions and also tidied up the blocking feature that users manage themselves. One of these changes is a revision to the Privacy Policy, so we're letting you know in advance. What changed 1. Restrictions — Users who repeatedly break the rules may receive a posting restriction, a trading restriction, or an account suspension. If you're restricted, a notice appears when you try to use a blocked feature, showing the type, reason and end date. While trading is restricted, your listings are hidden from others, but trades that have already been accepted can still be completed. Even while suspended, you can still use everything available without logging in (Item Database, market search, browsing builds, reading the boards) as well as your account settings (log out, delete account). 2. Blocked users list — On the My Account page you can now see everyone you've blocked at a glance and unblock them right there, without having to find their profile again. 3. Privacy Policy, Section 2 (Retention and destruction) — Only when a permanently suspended member deletes their account, we keep an irreversibly transformed value of their email for one year from the deletion date to prevent abuse (re-registration), and then delete it. We never store the original email, and the stored value is never used to recover the email or for any other purpose. For all other members, everything is deleted immediately on account deletion, as before, and cannot be recovered. Effective date - October 1, 2026 (including the Privacy Policy revision) Restrictions and the blocked users list do not collect any new personal information. Only item 3 is a policy revision, and it applies only to accounts deleted while permanently suspended. If you do not agree to the revised policy, you may delete your account at any time.
