No. Listings, auctions, builds, the item database and the price bot are open to everyone. You only need to log in for things tied to your account, like posting listings, sending trade requests, writing on the boards, buy alerts, and sharing builds or save files.
DiaFriends is a Diablo II fan site, and every feature is free right now. It's run by one person, though, so there's a cap on how many listings you can post.
Send a trade request on a listing. Once the other player accepts, agree on a time, region (Asia), game name and password by message, then trade in the in-game trade window. DiaFriends only connects traders and isn't responsible for how a trade turns out.
No. DiaFriends doesn't support trades for cash or virtual currency, and real-money trading is not allowed. Only item-for-item trades, like runes or gems, are accepted.
Only the two players in an accepted trade.
Always check that the agreed item is in the trade window before you accept. You can report suspicious listings, and if you block someone, you won't see each other's listings or requests.
Saves downloaded from builds (when the author allows it) are for offline play only. They can't be used on online characters. They're for trying a build before you gear up for it.
